**About the role**:
Reporting directly to the Real-Time Forecasting Manager, this role supports the operation and development of short-term electricity price forecasting model. This role will be responsible for model development, maintenance, database management and market analysis and ensure the model’s accuracy and reliability for effective forecasting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Day to day operation and maintenance of the price forecasting model.
- Compare model performance to market and determine sources of inaccuracy.
- Creating appealing visualisations to represent your analysis to stakeholders.
- Contribute to processes to track accuracy of the model over various timeframes.

**What will you bring**:
You will possess a strong aptitude for data analysis developed through tertiary education, coupled with 2 years of experience in a similar role within a large organisation. You will also have:

- Intermediate quantitative and modelling skills.
- Python, SQL competency.
- Ability to grasp, communicate and comment on new, complex issues.
