An exciting opportunity exists to join Council a Customer Service Officer within a highly valued Customer Service Team providing service to our community in a variety of ways including, face to face, over the phone and via our live chat and written channels.

In this role you will:

- Be the first point of contact for Council in person, phone and live chat enquiries
- Have the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people in a professional and courteous manner
- Be able to adopt a collaborative and flexible approach to problem solving and information sharing
- Be a strong team player with a can-do approach

We are looking for:

- Someone with a background in customer service
- With strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding personal organisation and time management skills.
- Someone who thrives in a team environment and is also confident working autonomously
- Extensive experience in Local Government
