A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced EA/Trademark Assistant to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Competition, Risk and Regulatory team (CRR).
The CRR team undertakes a diverse range of legal work with a focus on competition, regulation, technology and intellectual property.
This position supports the CRR team and as key player there is a real opportunity to make the position your own. In addition to supporting this team with your EA skills you will be assisting with trademark administration tasks.
**Your role**
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- drafting correspondence, document preparation (including the use of precedents) and amendments
- reviewing and actioning IP Australia correspondence and updating and maintaining the firm's WebTMS and various other administrative TM tasks
- proactive diary management and coordination of meeting/travel arrangements
- liaising with clients as directed by fee earners and maintaining client databases and key contact information
- assist with co-ordination of tenders, pitches as required
- file management including opening and closing files (including trademark matters), electronic and physical filing
- co-ordinating end of month billing
- client and group reporting
- reconciliation of corporate AMEX expenses using Concur
- general administrative tasks
**What you need**
To be successful in this role, exceptional organisational skills are essential as well as a high level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm. You will need to be self-motivated and adaptable. In addition to this, you will possess the following attributes:
- previous legal EA experience (3-5+ years)
- an ability to work autonomously with mínimal direction

- exceptional organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise
