What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced professional to join Toyota to be a part of the Guest First division, in the role of T-CON Quality Coordinator.
The T-CON Quality Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating the Toyota Conversions daily operations and ensuring Toyota conversions quality targets are achieved in order to ensure high quality level of vehicle build. This is done to ensure quality conversion outcomes, and minimise quality impacts and outflows to the guests, to maximise Guest satisfaction.
How you’ll make an impact- Implements and reviews agreed Quality Management System (QMS), processes and procedures consistent with set policies in order to achieve Toyota Conversions objectives.- Completes vehicle auditing as per agreed schedule.- Monitors and review QMS with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements to minimise Toyota’s risk exposure and liabilities.- Resolves complex issues and recommends countermeasures in order to minimise risk.- Provides ongoing technical support to the T-CON Team Members to ensure production targets and quality targets are achieved.- Develops and continously improves the standardised inspection method and develops and delivers training plans to ensure resources are appropriately developed to meet both the short term and future requirements of the department and TMCA.- Provides advice on and assists managers in the development of policies and standards for Toyota conversions quality in order to ensure operations remain compliant and maintain high quality level of vehicle build.- Coordinates and facilitates forums to ensure that Toyota conversions quality plans, progress and issues are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.- Monitors and analyses performance against targets for own area and recommends countermeasures where required in order to ensure that agreed objectives can be achieved.- Monitors own tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements in order to minimise Toyota’s risk exposure and liabilities.
Your attributes - If you’ve got one or more, we’d love to hear from you- Degree qualification in Engineering or equivalent experience- 5+ years’ accumulative experience- Experience in quality control systems- Knowledge of Toyota Production System- Understanding of automotive/mechanical engineering- Ability to problem solve and negotiate in a complex environment.- Advanced Microsoft Office skills desirable
