Company Description We're hiring a Delivery Manager to be the go-to person for a global consulting client. This organisation has >10,000 people working in 23 countries and over 2 decades of experience. So this is an organisation that is stable, secure and growing. In this role, you oversee delivery, manage one of the large accounts and handle the commercial aspects of the relationship. To be clear, this is not an ITSM-type or managed services role. It's a role that's focused on bespoke transformation projects through software. The delivery teams you work with will all be Agile focused, meaning that you'll need to be well-versed in and a proponent of the Agile methodology. What's great is that you'll get to work from home, in the Brisbane office, and even on-site at customer offices - maybe even with some international travel thrown in. And even though they're all about the digital world, they still value face-to-face relationships. **You will need to be based in Brisbane for this role.** With a high level of direct client interaction, this is one of the few non-negotiables. To be considered, you'll need experience working in a professional services/consulting environment, a strong grasp of technology concepts with a knowledge of development life cycles. You'll collaborate with sales colleagues to craft proposals and bids, build and maintain solid client relationships, and serve as the face of the delivery team. Plus, you'll lead and motivate your team to ensure client accounts are successful and profitable in the long term **Job Description**: **The key responsibilities are**: - Take full responsibility for one or more client relationships, including defining project scope, managing project margins, overseeing the invoice process, documenting target profitability, and managing client expectations. - Be an agile champion that focuses on agile principles and methodologies to drive efficient and effective project delivery. - Develop a collaborative and agile first culture within the team, promoting continuous improvement, transparency, and adaptability. - Establish strategic relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring the successful management of assigned accounts. - Successfully communicate issues, manage client expectations, and build trusted relationships by consistently delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. - Maintain realistic project plans, quality standards, change control procedures, and risk management processes, including accurate revenue and cost forecasting. - Build clients' confidence in our service capabilities, contributing to the growth and development of assigned accounts. - Act as the senior decision maker on the account, overseeing the project manager and team, providing direction, ensuring adherence to Endava's project methodology (TEAM), and ensuring all work aligns with a clear business case understood by our team. - Gain a deep understanding of the client's business, beyond the technical aspects, with a focus on customer and business benefits. - Support presales activities, including proposal development, by identifying delivery units, assembling bid teams, and taking responsibility for the technical and commercial quality of the proposals. Overall, it's a challenging and rewarding role that's perfect for someone like you who's ready to take their leadership skills to the next level. **Qualifications**: So what skills, experiences and qualifications would you need in order to be successful? - Delivery experience within complex, preferably enterprise-level organisations. - Significant commercial experience and understanding of software and product concepts and comprehensive knowledge of relevant development life cycles. - Hands-on technology delivery experience through roles such as Delivery Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Digital Consultant. - Ability to deliver in a hybrid working environment. - Impeccable documentation and presentation skills. - Prior experience in a Consulting organisation is highly regarded. - Self-motivated towards delivering high-quality services that demonstrate credibility and professionalism. - Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish & develop client relationships. - Leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate and guide teams, ensure the long-term health of client accounts, and be accountable for overall account success and profitability. Additional Information **Additional Information** - Competitive salary package. - Robust benefits package (Bonuses, Discounts and Stock Options). - Diverse activities with a high international share and a wide range of topics. - State-of-the-art technology. - Ongoing learning opportunities - complex projects, training, coaching, conferences, workshops, certifications, online learning platforms, subscriptions, etc. - Work-Life-Balance with flexible working hours, and home office possibilities. - Diverse company social life - events, sports
