**The role**:
The role is responsible for end to end production scheduling within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with the demand and supply planning process, including demand planning and forecasting process, to achieve a high level of accuracy, incorporating development of volume Forecasts and Budget
- Liaise with the Sales teams on market share trends, promotions, new products and competitor activities to ensure quality input to the demand plans
- Manage the end to end planning process for each specified business unit, whilst being the pivotal link in improving communications between the supply chain and sales functions.
- Manage and balance exceptional demand by the impact of the continuous changing demand on financial outcomes and the ability to communicate this.
- To run the demand planning process and agile supply planning process Lead and facilitate Demand and Supply Review meetings to complement planning cycle in overall IBP process
- Manage data integrity related to supply chain planning parameters in ERP systems
- Support the key system and process improvement projects

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Experienced team player and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Minimum 3+ years' work experience in manufacturing industry
- 2 years in planning role within a manufacturing environment
- Experienced user of MS Projects and/or SAP Planning Board
