**Production Manager Role Description**
The Production Manager at our client’s manufacturing facility plays a pivotal role in overseeing all comprehensive operations. The Production Manager ensures seamless production with a focus on efficiency, safety, and team development.

- Implement Lean methodologies across all operational facets, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- **Safety and Accountability**:

- Demonstrate Felt Leadership principles, encouraging ownership and accountability among team members.
- Prudently manage costs, throughput, and scrap to enhance operational profitability.
- **Safety First**:

- Instill a safety-first culture supported by robust processes and governance structures.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability.
- **Team Performance and Talent Acquisition**:

- Oversee team performance, aligning it with organisational objectives.
- Lead recruitment efforts and workforce planning to attract top-tier talent while meeting operational needs.
- **Market Expansion and Contractor Management**:

- Identify new manufacturing opportunities to expand our market footprint.
- Effectively manage contractors to ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.

**Additionally**:

- **New Team Member Integration**:

- Implement a robust induction program emphasising safety protocols, task training, and seamless workforce integration.
- **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)**:

- Develop detailed SOPs for each operational task, ensuring staff competency and adherence.
- Maintain up-to-date licenses for all team members as per regulatory requirements.
- **Optimized Work Schedules**:

- Create standard work schedules that balance production supervision with employee well-being.
