The Forensic Technical Services (FTS) team comprises full time in-house technical experts and a network of external consultants, all of whom work as technical expert witnesses in legal disputes across the globe.
You will become part of a team supporting a global network of expert witnesses in the management of multiple complex and challenging projects, assisting with expert reports, and high-quality reports and other experts services are delivered for our clients around the world.
You will also assist with the growth and management of a network of local and global external consultants and play an integral part in managing the global projects that they are working on. We support your growth and development, and you learn continuously as you work on an exciting range of projects across the world.

Project Management duties include:
- Manage single expert and multi-expert projects - manage project team, deadlines, expert witness reports and budgets.
- Programme scheduling, ensuring deadlines on all projects are clear and are met.
- Delegate project tasks to others where appropriate.
- Keep track of the budget and assist with invoicing.
- Liaison between client, external consultants and internal teams including assisting with the preparation of progress reports.
- Quality control including the drafting, review, formatting and tailoring of reports, and coordination of peer reviews. We need well structured, well written reports to go our clients.
- Assisting with risk assessments and arranging site visits.
- Project close out and feedback.
**Enquiry duties include**:
- Field client enquiries, understanding client requirements and ascertaining the key information for discussion with expert colleagues.
- Preparing detailed work-plans and formal proposals in consultation with the expert team.
- Administer proposals and terms of appointment and field negotiations with the client.
- You will support with any additional duties, including but not limited to:
- Sourcing and interviewing external consultants.
- Maintaining relationships with colleagues and external consultants.
- supporting colleagues in the team as required.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Degree qualified or qualified by experience.
- Previous experience in the legal sector is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Attention to detail - we need high quality product going out the door every time.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and do whatever is needed to get the job done.
- Handle multiple projects and varied task load.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and multiple deadlines.
- Ability to keep track of budgets and assist with invoice review.
- Ability to learn from one project and take learnings to make improvements in the next project.
- Microsoft skills - particularly in MS Word. We need you to be excellent in editing and formatting lengthy reports.
- Proofing guru - we need you to review documents, help with formatting, structure and check for spelling and grammar to ensure that it is readable and understandable.
Salary $85,000 Total package
