We have been engaged by a long standing client to assist in the sourcing of an experienced Consulting Manager who will be responsible for the People Management of our clients Functional and Technical Teams

The role focuses on developing the team whilst leading by example through key Professional Services projects. The Consulting Manager will also work with the HCM Sales team to support presales activities where deep domain expertise is required, showcasing our client’s capability.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities; (KSAs)**
- Experience in a professional consulting firm
- Experience in leading and developing teams.
- Experience in HCM & Payroll implementations (minimum 5 years)
- Ability to manage diverse teams across multiple time zones
- Ability to appropriately prioritise requirements for competing resources.
- Ability to build personal relationships with clients and peers by inspiring and motivating others.
- Thought leadership skills.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor people to achieve personal and team goals.

**Some of the key functions;**
- Participates in projects as a Delivery Executive or Project Manager, consulting clients with confidence and high quality.
- Responsible for managing a team of consultants (a mix of functional and/or technical in nature), including the professional development of this group.
- Responsible for ensuring the team meets utilization targets and other agreed Key Performance Indicators
- Responsible for hiring and onboarding team members.
- Demonstrates high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilates new knowledge.
- Provides input into delivery-related activities with SAP.
- Prepares knowledge transfer documentation and conducts training sessions.
- Provides sales support (domain expertise) as required
- Interacts with project managers/Account Managers through escalation

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in any technical or business-related discipline, or equivalent work experience, with formal management experience.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Professional Certification in at least 1 Module of SuccessFactors (ECP / EC ideally)
- Project Management qualification such as PMP, Agile or PMBO

MUST have an Australian work visa or PR in place at the time of applying.
