**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to work with multiple clients across the Gold Coast region. Locations include, Labrador, Willow Vale and Nerang. Our participants have suffered spinal cord injuries and require low to highintensity care. Applicants with prior experience of working with spinal cord injury clients will be highly regarded. This is a casual ongoing position with no end date in sight; we can offer part-time or full-time hours.

**The shift times are as follows**:
Nerang, QLD:

- Morning shift will be (8:00am - 10:30am) *Monday to Sunday
- Afternoon shift will be (6:00pm - 8:00pm) *Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- Afternoon shift will be (8:00pm - 10:00pm) *Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday

Willow Vale, QLD: *Monday to Sunday
- Day shift will be (6:00am - 1:00pm)
- Morning shift will be (6:00am - 9:00am)
- Afternoon shift will be (1:00pm - 8:00pm)

Labrador, QLD: *Monday to Sunday
- Day shift will be (6:00am - 1:00pm)
- Afternoon shift will be (1:00pm - 6:00pm)
- Overnight shift will be (6:00pm - 6:00am) *Inactive duty commences at 10:00pm

**Pay Rates**:

- Day shift $38.75 per hour
- Afternoon shift $42.63 per hour (+ sleepover allowance during inactive hours)
- Saturday shift $54.25 per hour
- Sunday shift $69.75 per hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with toileting
- Assistance with bowel therapy (administering enema and digital stimulation)
- Hoisting (full hoist/sling hoist)
- Completing skin checks
- Medication administering
- Supervision/assistance during meal time
- Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparation
- Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises
- Community access + rehab appointments

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Australian Driver Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current NDIS Screening Card or Yellow Card
- Current Blue Card
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
