**Supplier Management Officer - what's involved in the role?**
Liaising with our established contractors and suppliers, you will acquire, negotiate, and procure services and consumables that are essential to meeting the care needs of our customers. You will also collaborate with internal departments, to ensure efficient and effective engagement of third party suppliers, and ensure strong data integrity in our systems is maintained.
This newly created opportunity is available on a permanent full-time basis (Monday to Friday).
**More about the role**:
Working within the Supply Management team, you will:
- Work across internal functions (coordination, scheduling and finance) and directly with suppliers to action customer service and procurement requests.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers ensuring the ongoing development and maintenance of positive relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations, ensuring delivery of quality products and services, on time and within budget.
- Manage the resolution of supplier issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a brokerage matrix to support the delivery of services within budget KPI’s.
- Review purchase orders to ensure finance approvals are in place and terms have been met in a timely manner.
- Receipt and review invoices to ensure accuracy against agreed terms of service.
- Ensure all data entry processes are followed and fully compliant with business process requirements.
- Strive for quality improvements and cost containment while ensuring business needs are being met.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational business processes to ensure maximum efficiencies.

You will also possess:
- Demonstrated experience in procurement or contractor management.
- Effective scheduling, coordination, and time management skills.
- Strong computer literacy and analytical skills.
- A high level of professionalism and business acumen.
- Self-motivation and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and consultation skills.
- Knowledge and/or experience of community sector support services is advantageous.
