Recruitment and Onboarding Advisor

An exciting, permanent opportunity is available for a Recruitment and Onboarding Advisor to join our Talent Acquisition, Recruitment on Onboarding (TARO) team to provide support and advice regarding talent acquisition, recruitment and selection, and onboarding through the delivery of client focused services in accordance with Queensland Public Trustee policies, procedures and guidelines, using time management and organisational skills.
You will possess knowledge and experience in the delivery of contemporary talent acquisition and recruitment services, ideally in the Queensland public sector. You will be experienced with managing your workload to meet competing deadlines and requests from business units. Your strong interpersonal and written communication skills will be required to interact with various clients to successfully provide talent, acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding advice in a complex environment. In addition, you will be proficient in the use of contemporary computerised systems.

- Provide guidance to managers and business areas to assist in vacancy management, general role evaluation (JEMS) processes, advertising requirements, short-listing, recruitment and selection, and onboarding activities.
- Ensure all required documentation and checks are completed by business units, received, and saved following established recruitment processes, for both advertised and not advertised vacancy processes. Quality check documents and information received by hiring managers and selection panels for compliance.
- Administer the supporting employees affected by workplace change (SEAWC) process by submitting applicable roles for matching when required. Support the administration of QPT's continuous applicant pools.
- Interpret legislation, directives, policies, and procedures related to recruitment and selection and provide selection panels with concise and proper advice supporting the delivery of a range of HR services.
- Work collaboratively with team members, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines, and where required work autonomously in an area that processes high volumes of recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Gather and source information for analysis, complete analysis and produce reports as requested.
- Support the TARO team in the delivery of projects and initiatives relating to improving attraction, talent and workforce planning outcomes.
- Assist with continual process improvement initiatives relating to services delivered by the TARO team.
