THIS IS A PERMANENT FULL TIME ROLE BASED IN SYDNEY
As the Manager of Live Event Operations, you will be responsible for the streaming operations for Paramount+, overseeing a live 24/7 operations team and working closely with the Sr Manager Live Events in Sydney to deliver seamless operations and create best practices for event operations.
**Functions will also include**:
Manage 24/7 live streaming sporting events
Manage and schedule a team of Coordinators to handle multiple events running concurrently
Troubleshoot and fix any live TV streaming issues on P+ and provide root cause analyses for major issues
Collaborate with international teams
Additional other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What are we looking for? What’s important?
The ability to work nights and weekends to support international releases and/or live events
Previous experience with live streaming video or broadcast and exposure to IP video delivery and AWS services
Experience and confidence in diagnosing technical issues for streaming video
Supervisory experience, ability to lead a team remotely
