The Ethical Standards Command is a multi-faceted unit in that it has a responsibility to investigate and oversee investigations ranging from breaches of discipline to serious criminal offences, as well as a preventative and compliance driven role through education, operational reviews, and inspections strategies.
Administration officers play an integral part in the day-to-day operations of the ESC and will be expected to operate in a dynamic and diverse environment.
Administration Officers are responsible for providing administration support to assist in resolving complex and sensitive complaints, issues and reports containing allegations against employees of the QPS. Members will be regularly called upon to provide critical support to specialised teams of investigators, responsible for providing high level advice and investigation into corrupt conduct, ethical awareness and misconduct matters relating to employees of the QPS. On occasion this may involve viewing graphic materials.
The successful applicant/s for these position/s may be called upon to work in different areas of the Command, including the Integrity and Performance Group (IPG); Internal Investigations Group (IIG); State Case Management Unit (SCMU); and the Staff Member Discipline Team; as well as across Strategy and Support areas, which provide support to Senior officers.
All administration officers play a vital role in supporting a positive working environment, culture and professional behaviour within the QPS.

**Your Key Accountabilities**:
**The core capability requirements for this role are**:

- Undertake the recording, indexing, archiving and distribution of correspondence whilst contributing to the review and improvement of administrative systems and processes.
- Input and retrieve data from a variety of computer systems, perform word processing and maintenance of registers.
- Prepare and/or assist in the preparation and development of correspondence and reports.
- Attend to telephone enquiries and assist with front counter duties, where appropriate/applicable.
- Process expenditure and other vouchers, maintain financial records and conduct regular reconciliations of source documents against financial reports.
- Compile budgetary reports, monthly and quarterly returns and rostering as required.
- Perform audits and risk management activities in relation to human resource practices.
- Maintain and manage stores and equipment.
