Excellent contract Business Partnering opportunity
- 5 months with a potential 6 month extension
- $550 per day + super

Newly created Finance Business Partner contract role for a NSW State Government department. Initial 5-month contract until July with a view to extend for 6 months -you will be managing a range of accounting and business partnering activities in consultation with stakeholders throughout the department as well as managing reporting, budget management and short and long-term forecasting for an organisation with a great cause.

They are looking for someone who is CA/CPA qualified and who has demonstrated accounting and finance business partnering experience, ideally within a Government or Community based environment.

An overview of the duties includes:

- Manage the utilisation of appropriate systems and processes to review, maintain and manage financial information to facilitate a consistent approach to financial management and reporting
- Undertake analysis and review of reporting and identify critical financial issues and risks in order to generate strategic insights
- Support the Director in providing high quality advice and raising business issues and risks covering finance, payroll, recruitment, and provide various information for budget estimates requests.
- Manage the development and maintenance of high quality records management and reporting to assist with improving existing procedures and processes.
- Work collaboratively with a team of Finance Business Partners regarding budget issues, funding requests and finance matters.
