Reliability Maintenance Engineering Graduate

Currently in your final year or have already completed within the last 24 months, an undergraduate or postgraduate university degree/qualification in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical, Automation majors) or similar technical discipline
- An interest to hands-on experience or previous work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Graduate will have a significant impact on customer experience. The RME Graduate will work with the Engineering Team to problem solve complex issues, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet timelines.

In this role you will be providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the Fulfilment Centre (FC). The role has a direct impact on the site, it’s productivity and operational success. If equipment is not available or performs sub-optimally, it minimizes the capacity and throughput of the site, directly impacting the experience of the customer.

Key job responsibilities
- Embracing Amazon RME policies and procedures to ensure standardization to existing processes.
- Responsible for managing the buildings overall equipment etrics and understanding the buildings Availability and Quality performance with a view to optimizing throughput and reducing the overall price per unit.
- Using Asset performance management systems to maintain detailed records of engineering history, planned preventative maintenance and shift reporting. Also linking these to Customer trouble tickets and working with the engineering team to see these through to successful completion.
- Working alongside Amazon Technicians to complete intrusive maintenance.
- Responsible for Safety Health and Environment metrics in the business and being trained in contractor control and permit to work processes.
- Understanding the management of the building maintenance facilities.
- Working alongside the Automation engineering team, Early life Cycle management team and Reliability maintenance Area Managers to understand Amazon’s maintenance strategy and define best practices.
- Working within the broader Amazon network and look for ways to scale solutions.
- Trained in Amazon’s change control processes.
- Using advanced technology for fault diagnosis and root cause analysis, Working alongside Amazon robotics equipment.
