Due to ongoing growth of the business this newly created role reports to the General Manager - Property and Ancillary Services. Responsible for a range of buildings within the mecwacare asset portfolio and working closely with both corporate and site based senior managers, this role ensures all facilities are presented in the best possible condition both internally and externally. Engaging with contractors, and a range of internal stakeholders, the role will ensure maintenance activities are delivered within scope, on time and within budget, the facilities are cleaned to the desired standard and the gardens are presented in the best possible manner.

**What you bring***:

- Trade and/or Building qualifications and/ or considerable relevant industry experience.
- Experience in the management of staff at multiple work locations.
- Ability to assess building works and undertake technical problem solving.
- The ability to oversee, control and deliver multiple programs of work within scope, time and budget.
- Established and proven stakeholder management skills.
- Effective and adaptable oral and written communication skills.
- Professional level of financial acumen, IT systems literacy, problem solving and risk management.
- A commitment to quality outcomes for clients, residents, staff and volunteers of mecwacare

**Desirable**:

- Understanding and experience in environmental sound building practice and principles.
- Experience in the Aged Care Sector
