Working within Australia's largest retail Supply Chain Network, the Interstate Transport Coordinator role exists to ensure optimum coordination of our daily transport and meat freight movement from Melbourne to SA, Tasmania, NSW and Wodonga.

Operating out of the Melbourne Fresh Distribution Centre and reporting into theTransport Manager, you will be responsible for the following key duties:

- Coordinate and supervise daily operational execution including load planning, allocation, dispatch and receiving of meat freight
- Liaise and partner with key stakeholders of the DC, 3PL and Meat areas of our business, ensuring continuous operations flow and effective daily transport task execution
- Support Transport Operations Manager with daily operational execution and delivery services
- Support effective load planning and equipment utilisation and ensure dispatch/receive operations are performed at the highest and safest levels in a timely manner
- Strong administrative duties including accurate and timely data input into TMS, daily updates of cost tracking and timely reporting of all interstate movements from Melbourne using an in-house system

**About You**

As a self driven and experienced coordinator in this field, you will possess at least 2 year’s Operational experience within Transport. You will also:

- Hold a sufficient understanding of Linehaul transport operations
- Understand geographical areas around VIC
- Hold experience within FMCG, understand COR regulations and boast exceptional communication skills
- This role requires someone who has clear and open communication, a high level of effectiveness and the ability to work toward strict deadlines
