The VetPartners Veterinary Training Centres are dedicated to empowering veterinary excellence through elevating the skills and knowledge of veterinary professionals.
- With four locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast/Brisbane and Christchurch, the Veterinary Training Centres provide a supportive learning environment where professionals can learn, practice and ask questions in a small group environment. The Veterinary Training Centres are purpose built facilities for training veterinary professionals and each location features a high-tech seminar room, along with a separate wet lab area where the practical components of workshops are held.

An exciting opportunity has become available at our Melbourne Veterinary Training Centre and we are looking to expand our team and welcome a new Event and Training Assistant in a casual capacity.**

**About The Role**:
Event and Training Assistants are responsible for the practical organization of the Veterinary Training Centre workshops. Their key duties involve:

- Liaising with workshop facilitators and ensuring the practical resources are ordered and organized for each training workshop
- Managing workshop event operations
- Set up and pack down of each training workshop - this includes cadaver handling
- Making the attendee and facilitator experience as positive as possible by being the on-the-day onsite contact
- General administrative and cleaning tasks

This is an entry level position and would be well suited to someone with an administrative background with an interest in the veterinary industry, or someone who has previous experience in the industry but looking for a career change into the events and training space.
- Someone with a passion for the veterinary industry
- Strong administration skills
- Previous experience in the veterinary industry would be an advantage, but not essential
- Flexibility, with the availability to work weekdays, weekends and long shifts
- A confident and enthusiastic communicator
- A strong passion for training and development
- Excellent organisation skills and reliability
- A valid driver’s licence
