**Your new company**
This reputable NSW government organisation based in Parramatta is seeking a competent Finance and Administration Support Officer to come on board for an initial 6 month contract, with potential for extension.

**Your new role**
The Finance and Administration Support Officer is responsible for providing specific business unit administrative support to the Development Services unit to ensure the efficient delivery of financial and operational services.

Duties will include:

- Support and manage the end-to-end financial services including invoicing, goods receipting and purchase order process for the unit with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and consultants.
- Provide secretarial support to the Director and the unit to meet development service unit objectives, including travel, stationary, briefing notes, reports, scheduling meetings and document compilation.
- Prioritise business support tasks for the team and ensure tasks are followed through with and completed
- Provide troubleshooting support around technology, and raising ServiceNow requests for team members, including SAP, TRIM, Booking Intelligence, FCM Travel Solutions, OneSystem

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated recent and relevant experience providing financial administrative services, including invoicing, receipting and purchase orders, as well as experience scheduling meetings and booking travel
- Be tech-savvy and confident navigating between multiple systems at a time, as well as competency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Be proactive and positive, with a strong ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Previous experience using TRIM and/or SAP is advantageous

On offer to you is a Finance and Administration Support Officer position assisting a reputable NSW government department on a 6-month assignment, at a pay rate of $50 per hour + super. In return you will be working full time business hours Monday - Friday. You will be working in a supportive team in their Parramatta-based location. The contract is looking to start ASAP and is currently estimated for a 6-month period with potential for extension.
