**About the role**
Mater currently have an exceptional opportunity for a detailed and experienced **Manager - Performance Reporting & Analytics **who wants to make a great impact in a short time. This will be offered as a **full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract** with potential for extension.
The position will provide the performance and financial reporting for the Board/sub-committees and executives, in conjunction with business partners and commercial and business managers.
**Salary range: Commensurate with experience plus super plus generous salary packaging**
**What you’ll be doing**
The role works closely with the Director - Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) to lead the implementation of contemporary processes, systems and people to ensure focus on metrics that matter and bring insights across the Mater from Board to Ward.
You will lead and implement the Enterprise Performance and Reporting Framework, monthly corporate reporting (including Executive and Board reporting), and analysis. Your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Work closely with the Director EPM in the implementation and ongoing development of the Enterprise Performance Reporting Framework
- Prepare the consolidation of Group report and monthly reporting to Executive, Board and other Committees with both financial and non
- financial metrics
- Provide relevant, meaningful commentary for financial performance reporting, board presentations and other ad hoc reporting
- Develop a deep understanding of the Group’s business drivers and its strategic goals
- Develop and evolve insightful reporting and analysis, highlight risks and opportunities and present findings to relevant stakeholders
- Conduct periodic analysis of variances in actuals, forecasts and business plans
- Undertake deep dive in the performance of the enterprise with insights and recommendation
- Guide the production of analysis of organisational and business unit performance
- Collaborate with the Senior Financial Analyst/Financial Analyst to analyse large volume of data, develop and maintain financial models
- Provision of labour analysis and reporting to support the efficient management of the business
- Provision of services and support to Human Resources in enterprise bargaining negotiations
- Ensure the reporting hierarchy within TM1 reflects the approved structure and or provide recommendations to improve hierarchy
- Lead process improvements including better practice guidance / templates / tools to improve reporting
- Provide leadership, direction and coaching to ensure staff have the skills and knowledge to effectively achieve business objectives and meet deliverables
- Support Group Finance as required
**About you**
As the successful applicant, you will have proven experience in a similar position along with exceptional communication and presentation skills. You will be a collaborative critical thinker who is passionate about continuous improvement and working as part of a Team. You will also possess:
- Relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in accountancy, economics, commerce, finance or a related discipline
- Professional standing for current membership or eligibility for membership of a recognised Australian accounting body, either the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, or similar membership
- Master of Business Administration or equivalent senior postgraduate qualifications (highly advantageous)
- Extensive experience in business performance reporting in a large size complex business (health sector highly advantageous)
- Extensive experience managing, motivating and leading a team of people with diverse skills
- Extensive experience working in a matrix structure
- Demonstrated presentation and report writing skills with the ability to clearly explain complex issues and data into compelling stories
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience leveraging ERP (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Proven ability to use reporting tools such as TM1 and PowerBI to draw insights and drive decisions
