Job Overview
The Showroom Manager is responsible for leading their location to achieve sales and customer
experience excellence. This role combines people leadership, sales coaching, operational
oversight, and customer engagement. As a key representative of Life Interiors, the Showroom
Manager drives showroom success by building a high-performing team, optimising processes,
and collaborating across departments to deliver strong commercial results and an inspiring
brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Growth
- Lead the showroom to achieve revenue targets, IPT, quote conversion, and other sales
KPIs.
Analyse sales data and implement strategies to lift team performance and results.
Partner with Trade, Digital, and Marketing teams to maximise cross-channel sales
opportunities.
Leadership & Coaching
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Deliver structured coaching in product knowledge, consultative sales, and customer
engagement.
- Build a culture of accountability, energy, and continuous improvement, celebrating
success along the way.
Customer Experience
- Ensure every customer receives a premium, design-led experience in line with the Life
Interiors brand.
- Oversee styling consultations, showroom presentation, and service recovery for
escalations.
- Drive initiatives that build customer loyalty and increase Google reviews.
Operational Excellence
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource planning to ensure optimal floor coverage
during core trading and campaign periods.
- Maintain stock integrity, visual merchandising standards, and compliance with SOPs
and safety protocols.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Collaboration & Strategy
Act as the primary point of contact for escalated sales and operational issues.
Work closely with the Sales Manager and senior leadership on national initiatives,
campaigns, and promotions.
- Share showroom insights and contribute to broader sales strategy and process
development.
Skills & Experience
3+ years in showroom, retail, or consultative sales leadership.
Proven ability to lead teams to exceed sales targets.
Demonstrated coaching capability with measurable impact on sales performance.
Strong commercial acumen with confidence in analysing KPIs and reporting.
Experience with CRM/ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and sales reporting tools.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for interiors and creating outstanding customer experiences.
