The Business Performance Partner Manager role will provide high level strategic financial management and commercial support by negotiating, managing, and maintaining the budgetary, activity and financial plan of the relevant business lines to maximise the ability to deliver services within the constraint of funding approved by Queensland Health.
What do you need to be successful for this role?
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and expert advice on all financial management issues to senior management, especially clinicians.
- Support and collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to build and foster productive working relationships that achieve organisational goals.
- Experience in providing high quality management accounting service including proven ability to coordinate an efficient budget and forecast processes, and produce financial analysis and reports within tight timeframe, high pressure and fasting moving environment.
- Experience in the use and maintenance of financial systems, reporting and analysis tools, and ability to analyse and solve complex financial information that would inform Senior Management on the performance of the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior management, together with high level communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a high performing team with multiple responsibilities and timeframes spanning several areas/divisions.

Mandatory qualifications, registrations and other requirements:

- A minimum of three (3) years' experience operating at a similar level in a complex financial business environment would be well regarded.
- Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary qualification in business, commerce or accounting would be well regarded. Queensland Health values the enhanced knowledge, skills and performance which can result from formal tertiary education. Both existing and prospective employees are encouraged to undertake appropriate study.
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16):

- measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
- varicella (chicken pox)
- pertussis (whooping cough)
- hepatitis B
- tuberculosis
