**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Our Planning and Environment practice in Brisbane is growing, and we have a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated law graduate or recently admitted lawyer to join the team.

Working with a leading Partner and three other senior lawyers, you'll be actively involved in the team, gaining practical exposure and experience across a broad range of planning, development and environment matters and transactions.

You don't have to have had previous experience in P&E, although prior experience in a commercial firm or exposure to property, planning and construction law would be a plus. We can teach you what you need to know and are invested in your success as you grow your experience and career with us. The most important thing is that you are interested in planning and environment law, positive, collaborative and eager to learn.

**About you**

If you are currently completing your practical legal training (PLT) or in your first year of admitted experience, ideally in a commercial practice, this role may be for you.

Additionally, you will have:

- a strong interest in planning, development and environment legal work
- well-rounded verbal and written communication skills for both internal team work as well as for work with stakeholders and clients
- excellent drafting skills and a high attention to detail
- a desire to learn and a commitment to growing your career
- the ability to operate both autonomously and within a team
- a strong business and professional ethic, and the drive to succeed
