Warehouse Receiving Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule inbound deliveries to warehouse
- Supervise the unloading of inbound deliveries to warehouse
- Supervise the receipt & put away (safe storage) of incoming goods in line with client KPI’s
- Liaise with client regarding any delivery discrepancies / damages
- Process customer returns / credit returns to warehouse in line with client KPI’s
- Manage container unloading contractor team
- Scheduling container unload priority
- Provide pallet configuration
- Monitors labour hours of contractor
- Supervise the administration tasks associated with receipting and put away of incoming goods / returns
- Processing of reworked goods in to stock and put away of goods
- Manage the labor hours and resources for receiving area work volumes
- Report on inbound KPI’s for the receiving area
- Manage the surplus pallet levels on site (incl. client provided pallets)Book CHEP & Loscam pallets in to 2IC pallet management system
- Communicate on daily basis with Customer Service, Bulk Pick / Pack and other Dispatch personnel
- Weekly processing / updating agency and timesheets for payroll
- Training of new personnel in the inbound area

**Requirements**:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the warehousing/ logistics industry
- Basic understanding of customer service
- Well developed problem-solving and time management skills
