- Queensland Rail are excited to offer the opportunity for an Integrated Possessions Planner to join the team on a permanent basis. This team is responsible for interfacing with external agencies in the delivery of large rail infrastructure projects within our Major Projects Integration department.
- This role, along with the team, will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of significant rail projects.
**Core responsibilities**
- Manage processes associated with authorising third party entry onto Queensland Rail property to undertake works.
- Ensure the integrity of the rail corridor is maintained and risks are appropriately managed by:
- Identifying operational and safety requirements and ensuring they are managed and compliant with planning protocols.
- Perform SWIMS reviews and assurance activities.
- Undertake site inspections to perform safe working compliance audits and ensure all works are performed to legislative and compliance rules and procedures.
- Maintain databases and data entry for all planned corridor access activities.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify and coordinate Queensland Rail resource requirements to support site access requirements.
- Maintain databases and data entry for all planned corridor access activities using business information database system Vizirail.
**This role will also be required to perform Project Management tasks that are associated with interfacing with the programme of rail projects currently being developed and planned by TMR as required. These tasks will include**:
- Attending project meetings
- Coordinating responses to Requests for Information
- Coordination of Queensland Rail stakeholder and SME documentation reviews
- General project management and interface management responsibilities.
- **This position plays a significant role in the successful planning of key rail projects in Queensland. To succeed in this role, you will have great stakeholder and interpersonal skills, the ability to build productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and be well organised.

- Extensive knowledge of trackside safety standards as they relate to third party stakeholders.
- Understanding of project management and risk management principles and practices.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise work across multiple outstanding items and new enquiries.
- Have a highly organised approach to delivering outcomes and strive to meet constantly changing timeframes/deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive a solution focused outcomes for all parties.
