Maintenance Operations Planner

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Operations Planner to manage the Integrated Maintenance Schedule, modifications, conduct 'what if' analyses, and maintain a strategic mindset.

This role will suit someone with exceptional autonomy, adaptability, and the ability to focus strategically and pivot tactically to ensure capability outcomes are achieved daily.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Part 145 and CAMO environments, Defence Aviation Regulatory framework, Project Management and Engineering Principles. They will also possess excellent stakeholder communication skills and the ability to collaborate across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fleet Plan / Integrated Maintenance Forecast and Schedule management
  • Scheduling, Coordination and Scope Definition for Scheduled Maintenance, Modifications, Lifed Items and DLM activities
  • Fleet metrics development, review and reporting
  • Development of 'what-if' scenarios for tactical and strategic considerations
  • Monitoring of all scheduled/unscheduled arisings effecting F/A-18F and EA-18G fleet availability in support of Enterprise outcomes

Qualifications include working knowledge and technical experience within Part 145 and CAMO environments, defence aviation regulatory framework, project management and engineering principles. Excellent stakeholder communication skills and ability to collaborate across the enterprise are also required.
