The SMP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing construction packages of structural, mechanical, and piping (SMP) activities on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project. This role requires strong technical expertise in SMP disciplines, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.**In this role, you will undertake the following duties**:

- Work to detailed work plans and schedules for SMP activities in coordination with the Superintendent and Construction Manager.
- Understanding project schedule requirements
- Allocate daily tasks to all leading hands/direct reports, keeping close tabs on their productivity, efficiency, attitude and general work standards, whilst adhering to HSSEQ policies and meeting project deadlines.
- Daily Supervision of a team of SMP craft workers, where you will provide clear instructions, guidance, and support.
- Ensure that the team is adequately trained and possesses the required skills and certifications to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and high performance among the SMP workforce.
- Conduct regular inspections and reviews of SMP installations to identify and address any quality issues promptly.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) team to resolve non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections and project scheduling
- Promote a strong safety culture and enforce HSE policies and procedures on-site.
- Conduct prestart meetings, toolbox talks, and job hazard analyses to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement preventive measures to avoid their recurrence.
