Due to project growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Saunders International team in Brisbane, QLD on a permanent full-time basis.

Responsibilities

- Deliver all works in accordance with the schedule.
- Have a detailed understanding of upcoming work scopes.
- Study and know in detail the contents of the following documents: Project contracts; Project documents including method statements, execution plans and procedures.
- Keep OM and customer advised of significant problems or events.
- Monitor compliance with safe working procedures.
- Determine resource profile required to meet tank program milestones.
- Seek out innovation and assist with the implementing new or improved methods.
- Prepare and issue reports to company and client standards.
- Prepare all detailed technical enquiries and work scopes for third party suppliers/sub-contractors and raise procurement requisitions in Stripes, expedite the placement of procurement and sub-contract purchase orders.
- Line management of Project Engineer, Project Controls Engineer, Site Supervisors and overseeing of work crews, provide coaching where required to ensure that safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
- Raise variations to the contract in accordance with the terms set out in the contract.
- Raise progress claims to the customer.
- Maximise the profit of the operation with due regard to safety, quality, and the Company’s reputation.
- Prepare and present end of month forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

- Degree or Trade qualification in engineering, construction, or project management field.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager in the relevant industry/environment, minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

- RTO CS – Confined Space Enter & Work RIIWHS202E
- RTO First Aid – Provide First Aid HLTAID011
- The ability to always deliver what is required of you and support other team members to achieve their goals.
- Willing to review tasks and determine how they can be executed best to improve productivity.

Highly regarded

- Proven experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience in SMP and Tankage projects
- API 650 & 653 knowledge
