An exciting opportunity exists for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Administration Officer, within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Directorate to provide a high level of confidential administrative support for the Manager A&TSI and the wider team as directed. The Administration Officer will coordinate and manage all secretarial and administrative aspects for the office in a professional manner, including preparing rosters, being the primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing communication, answering routine queries, booking conference rooms, and assisting with the organisation and preparation of documents and meeting material.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
Provide high quality confidential administration and secretarial support to the Manager A&TSI and project team.
Effectively communicate with customers and demonstrate understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus.
Demonstrate an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander inequities, and health issues.
Act as a primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing communication.
