THE JOB - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
- This Sales Representative position based in Brisbane or Gold Coast, will be responsible for both securing new customers and developing existing customers, growing the business within the segments of dairy, meat, grain, feed & forage, wine & beer and laboratories in Qld.
- Reporting to the ANZ Sales Director, you will work directly with customers and prospects, supported by colleagues throughout ANZ from the various industry segments, above.
- You will be responsible for sales through sales calls, face to face meetings, virtual meetings and negotiations with customers.
- You will undertake continuous sales and product training on new and existing products.
- You will maintain an active and constant pipeline to achieve/exceed sales budgets.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- You will be able to demonstrate a versatile profile, both hunting and farming, someone who is able to work both independently and as part of a team, taking full ownership for achieving/exceeding business sales targets.
- You operate in a well-structured manner and will be responsible for creating and executing annual business plans.
- Ideally, a minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the food industry, holding a related degree or commercial background, is beneficial but not necessary.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software and have experience using and maintaining a CRM.
- Be an effective communicator across different levels of organisations (internally and externally).
- Have strong negotiation skills and demonstrable previous sales growth achievements.
- Be able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and have a strong customer focused mindset.
- You will be passionate, determined, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
