**How will I help?**

The role exists to provide superior Process Improvement expertise to support the Cash & Transactional Banking (CTB) line of business. As the Process Improvement Manager, you work collaboratively with our bankers, operations, product, and delivery teams to identify, define and deliver business process improvements.

**You will also be responsible for**:

- Supporting the Process Excellence Village in achieving its objectives
- Managing the CTB Continuous Improvement (CI) pipeline
- Reviewing and supporting CI Ideas through the process
- Driving embedding activities across CTB to build greater awareness of the CI process
- Support the business in using the CI process and Value Chain Management (VCM) to improve business performance
- Reviewing and supporting changes to Value Chains through the VC Change Management process.

Process & Project Management
- Maintain and develop process artefacts, including appropriate quality assurance and controls
- Demonstrate agility and flexibility of thinking, seek more efficient ways to execute on the way we operate.

Governance
- Produce and coordinate all relevant Governance packs (e.g. CI Forum, Interlocks); working with Service Owner to design pack content, and following up stakeholder inputs.

Change Management & Training
- Liaise and coordinate meetings with Idea and Benefit Owners, Change Initiators and Implementors to guide them through the CI or VCM process and key artefacts
- Perform QA review of new / amended Ideas as they progress through the qualified pipeline.

**What do I need?**

**Required**
- Process improvement or re-engineering experience in the financial services or similar industry
- Portfolio or project management experience in the financial services industry
- Intermediate stakeholder management skills
- Intermediate communication skills (verbal & written)
- Understanding of business drivers (customer, cost, productivity, risk)
- Ability to work self-sufficiently with mínimal guidance.

Desired
- Experience in Project Management Office (PMO) or Project Transformation Office (PTO)
- Demonstrate experience in driving value across the business, including improving efficiency through simplification opportunities
- Knowledge of Value Chain Management including the ability to leverage data and Value Chains to articulate the value of changes being made
- Demonstrable experience in influencing senior business leaders including strategic thinking and investment prioritisation
- Knowledge of risk management and governance frameworks for the financial services industry
- Knowledge of the financial services industry regulatory environment (APRA, ASIC and BASEL).
