Kelly Club provides Before School Care, After School Care and Holiday Care programs throughout Victoria. Our aim is to provide not just "a childcare facility", but to run programs in a safe environment that entertain and inspire our future generations.

Our goal is to give children opportunities to do the things they love and enjoy in a supportive and encouraging environment. We use a professional program model that is fun and promotes children's wellbeing, learning and development.

Programs are focused around sports, cooking, games, discovery, and arts and craft activities as well as relaxation time around a busy life at school. Children are encouraged, educated and entertained during their time in our programs.

Kelly Club is closely aligned with Kelly Sports. Kelly Sports has been providing a range of curricular and extracurricular sporting programs for children in Australia since 1994.

**The Role**

As a Kelly Club Coordinator you will be delivering your own fun and interesting program of activities, on a weekly basis, to school age children at our client's school in Belmont, Geelong, Victoria, as well as supervising one or two Educators or 2ICs.

You'll deliver a remarkable service to support families and children in Before School and After School Care Programs as well as during holiday programs.

As a Mentor, reporting to the Area Manager, you'll be guiding other Coordinators within the company as and when needed, online. You'll also carry out Responsible Person training to colleagues. When the Area Manager is on annual leave, you may step in for him/her.

The hours the Mentor Coordinator is required at the service are:
Fixed shifts during services, are:
Monday to Friday
Before school hours: 7.00am to 9.00am
After school hours: 3.00pm to 6.30pm

10.5 additional hours per week, outside the service times above, will be required do administrative work.

**You will**:

- Develop, plan and implement a stimulating, educational child care program
- Maintain a child safe environment for all children
- Assist children in routine tasks
- Manage and develop your team
- Communicate effectively with staff, families and children
- Complete general administrative tasks
- Perform other duties as required

**Skills and Experience**
- Diploma / Bachelors qualified within Childhood or Education studies or other ACECQA recognised qualification, working towards a qualification or the willingness to undertake studies.
- Valid Working with Children Check (before commencing)
- Current First Aid HLTAID004, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Asthma Management training (before commencing)
- Current child protection training and strong knowledge of child safe standards
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of National Regulations
- Good understanding of My Time Our Place learning framework

**About You**

Kelly Club Coordinators are individuals who are passionate about working with children and want to pursue their dreams by continuing their growth in the Education sector.

You are qualified, or currently undertaking a relevant qualification, have experience in running programs with school aged children and supervisory experience in any sector. For example, OSHC, school teaching, school camp programs, sporting programs, or the like.

Most importantly, you are personable, enthusiastic, driven, ambitious, and have the natural ability to communicate and engage with people. You're also well organised and can prioritise your administration, childcare and employee supervisory responsibilities.

You will demonstrate an ability to deliver a safe, caring and engaging program for primary aged boys and girls, motivating them to join in and have fun. At the same time, you have the ability to discern what things need to be documented and reported in order to ensure compliance.
