**What you will do**:
As the Assistant Quality Manager, you will support the Quality Manager in ensuring quality control and assurance processes are upheld within our automated glass manufacturing facility.

The role will be based at out facility in South Brisbane and will transition to our facility in Yatala within 12 months.

In this role you will:

- Assist the Quality Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control processes and procedures throughout the production lifecycle.
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process production and finished products as required
- Optimise automated systems using data analysis to improve quality and efficiency
- Ensure regulatory compliance and support audits
- Train and mentor staff, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Collaborate across teams to align quality objectives and report on performance metrics

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Proven experience in quality control or assurance, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of ISO, GMP, HACCP standards and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive approach to issue resolution, attention to detail, and strong coaching skills
- Proficiency in Quality Management software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
