**Procurement and Contract Administration Officer **to take on an exciting role in Brisbane CBD area.

**About The Organization**:

- The Public Trustee (PT) is the independent trustee for Queenslanders providing security and peace of mind. They have been looking after Queenslanders and their families since 1916.
- As the
**Procurement and Contract Administration Officer** you will manage procurement and contract related reporting, delivery of less complex procurement projects and manage a range of end-to-end purchasing functions.

**About the role**:

- Undertaking less complex procurement projects including initial planning, development of documentation and establishment of contracts.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders across a variety of business areas to determine requirements and progress of less complex procurement projects, activities and workloads, and external stakeholders and suppliers for the conduct of less complex procurement projects, activities, workloads and contract administration activities.
- Maintaining a detailed documentary record of procurement projects, contract registers, decisions and contractual arrangements including data management; ensuring the audit trail is adequately maintained and documented
- Preparing reports, correspondence, and submissions to key stakeholders and clients.

**About You**:

- Qualification in Purchasing or Procurement (or similar) would be advantageous;
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Experience in one or both of Government and/or private sector procurement is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as an effective team member.
- High-level organisational skills, including the ability to oversee and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to consult with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to effectively coordinate office administrative systems.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish productive working relationships.
