All-rounder Procurement Officer role in Federal Government
Your new organisation

This Governmental regulatory body has a vacancy for a procurement officer to join their procurement team. Starting immediately, this role is an initial 6-month temporary assignment, with the potential for extension after that.

Your new role

Within this role you will be responsible for assisting the procurement and contract management function of the organisation. Duties and responsibilities include:

- Organisation of tenders and associated documentation
- Spend analysis and identification of saving opportunities
- Provision of advice on procurement rules and policies
- Development and implementation of procurement procedures and systems
- Assistance in the managing of commercial and legislative risk

What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience with the procurement of goods and services
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and negotiation skills

- Option to work a 9-day fortnight with hours between 7am - 7pm
- $40 - $45/hour + super depending on experience.
