Wood is recruiting for an experienced
**People and Organisation (P&O)**
**Coordinator **to join our team in Perth, Western Australia as part of its Operations APAC business.This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to deliver service agreement to a major energy client.

Wood delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent producers, actively supporting operations acros the Australian & Asia Pacific region.

Working as part of a multi disciplinary People and Organisation (P&O) team, you will receive functional and day-to-day guidance from the P&O Manager, to support you in successfully assisting with planning, co-ordination and delivery of annual P&O projects and deliverables for an international workforce supporting oil and gas facilities across Australian and Timor Leste work locations. Your role supports a circa 200 trade and craft and professional team members who provide support to an offshore facility based in Timor Leste.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Ensuring P&O support is delivered in accordance with Australian employment law, Timor Leste labour code, Local Content Plans and functional policy, guidelines and training plans utilizing preferred suppliers.
- Reviewing all training and competence requirements
- Providing advice and governance to line managers and supervisors on all aspects of policy, employment legislation and employee relations.
- Collaborating with the Local Content Manager with regard to integration of Timor_Leste local content deliverables and integration of the Timor-Leste team.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key subcontractor focal points.

Skills / Qualifications:
**You**
**must be an Australian citizen OR hold Permanent Residency (PR) OR be able to work lawfully in Australia to be considered for this opportunity.**

You will be suitably qualified with a Bachelors degree education in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or business related qualification from a recognised institution and have:

- Previous experience in an HR environment
- Knowledge of changing regulatory environment
- Knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the achievement of performance targets
- Proven experience in customer service and maintaining a customer-focused approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with frequent change
- Ability to organize and prioritise day-to-day workload
- Exposure / experience in collating data into a logical order and sequence and provide simple analysis
- A commitment to continuous learning and development
- Practical understanding in modelling company values and behaviour
