**Role Summary**:
The Organisational Development Principal is an exciting opportunity in our OD & Partnering team based at our Perth CBD office. This role is being offered as a 12-month Parental leave contract.

The OD Principal works in a team of professionals that undertake a variety of projects and initiatives that are integral to the delivery of the People and Capability (P&C) strategic plan. The purpose of the position is to lead projects/initiatives that increase organisational effectiveness aligned with our strategic intent.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Stays abreast of contemporary research and practices and is able to analyse data to innovate and problem solve.
- Creates new OD products/services and develops and implements OD frameworks and methodologies that enables Synergy to execute P&C strategic milestones.
- Leads and supports projects/initiatives that increase organisational effectiveness aligned with our strategic intent and goals.
- Ensure people related change is implemented effectively and sustainably through a people first approach.
- Works across the HR-value chain and employee life cycle to provide expertise that result in positive employee experiences.
- Actively supporting the business units with embedding of employee engagement action planning approach and intent.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Degree qualifications in Human Resources, Arts or Sciences with a major in organisation psychology, organisational development, or commerce**.**:

- At least ten years’ experience in human resources with deep experience in organisational development.
- Background in working in commercial setting and/or process improvement or continuous improvement, with the proven ability to operationalise employee engagement intent and action planning.
- Ability to undertake research and analyse data and develop products and services aligned to strategic goals.
- Excellent stakeholder management, project management and change management skills.
