Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is recruiting for an experienced
**People and Organisation (P&O) Advisor **to join our team in Perth, Western Australia as part of its Operations APAC business.This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to deliver service agreement to a major energy client.

Wood delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent producers, actively supporting operations acros the Australian & Asia Pacific region.

Working as part of a multi disciplinary People and Organisation (P&O) team, you will ensure a positive customer experience and take accountability for managing queries effectively and closing out each in a timely manner, by providing advice, support and guidance across the full P&O spectrum. Your role provides a variety of generalist HR services necessary for the entire employee life-cycle including recruitment, selection, assignment, motivation, training and development of qualified employees for their area of the business.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provision of advice and support to key stakeholders on P&O policies, procedures and
employment legislation, including; performance management, capability, discipline and grievance
- Act as a focal point for all stakeholders regarding any issues relating to conditions of employment, salary, benefits and employee relations
- Proactively case manage more complex live employee relations issues

Skills / Qualifications:
**You**
**must be an Australian citizen OR hold Permanent Residency (PR) OR be able to work lawfully in Australia to be considered for this opportunity.**

You will be suitably qualified with a Bachelors degree education in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or business related qualification from a recognised institution and have:

- Previous experience in an HR environment
- Knowledge of changing regulatory environment
- Proven experience in dealing with industrial and employee relations issues.
- Knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the achievement of performance targets
- Proven experience in customer service and maintaining a customer-focused approach
- Demonstrated ability in generating trust and credibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be agile and receptive to change
- Ability to organise and prioritise day-to-day workload
- A commitment to continuous learning and development
- Practical understanding in modelling company values and behaviour
