**Operations Team Lead**

This business-critical position presents an outstanding opportunity for a strong communicator who is process driven, comfortable managing multiple tasks at once and is ready to roll up their sleeves and lead by example. We are looking for someone who has the wisdom and experience to know what must be done next, but who is also comfortable being “on the tools” in order to drive the desired outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and develop the full time and casual workforce and ensure daily fulfillment targets are achieved for picking and packing of customer orders within the Wholesale function.
- Liaise with Inventory and Wholesale sales teams to manage sales, inventory and fulfillment requirements.
- Lead by example, mentor staff and provide active frontline management with pick and pack team members to ensure they are motivated, trained and competent to perform assigned tasks.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.
- Ensure all packing and deliveries are in line with customer requirements, particularly Big Box Retailers.
- Implement all OHS requirements, L&D initiatives and process improvement initiatives and provide a safe working environment by ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to by staff.
- Act as the escalation point for any Team Member, supplier, head office sales and/or customer service queries as they relate to Wholesale.
- Stock cycle counting.
- Support with rostering and payroll duties for the wholesales team.
- Champion end to end operational excellence during assigned shifts.
- Drive process improvement and throughput through leadership on the operations floor.
- Be available to support weekend shifts during peak trading periods.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested.

- Strong eye for detail and accuracy with the ability to investigate discrepancies and process variances.
- Raise and resolve any unexpected issues that may cause delays with any customer orders in a timely manner.
- Previous supervisory experience within an operations or warehouse environment
- WMS user experience.
- People management experience and the ability to diffuse conflict and manage day to day incidents constructively and calmly.
