Our client is Australia's Exotic Hardwood Specialist. Stocking more than fifty species of outstanding specialty timbers sourced from Australia and around the world, They partner with building and design professionals to enhance projects across the spectrum — from residential to large-scale commercial fit-outs.

You will be responsible for managing and running the warehouse to achieve operational excellence and continual improvement whilst delivering safety, service, and operational excellence.

**About the Role**:
**Monday - Friday**
**6am to 2.30pm or 7.30am to 4pm**
**$60k to 70k + Super**

**Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to**
- To mentor and direct the store people in all aspects of warehousing
- Communication with Dispatch Co-Ordinator on issues and delays.
- Managing the day-to-day activities of your team.
- All outbound loads to be organized and staged for efficient turnaround time of outbound trucks.
- Ensure full traceability of all stored materials/items
- Consolidate stock to create more room for inbound stock, including the merge/amalgamation of packs.
- Forklift operation (as required)
- Enforce MHE daily checks e.g. tires, lights, water, grease, horn
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Report MHE damage or property damage immediately

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Dandenong South VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- warehouse team leading: 2 years (required)
- Forklift: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
