**The role**

The role will primarily involve:

- Planning & organising the daily workload across our warehouse team.
- Working with the customer service team to set priorities and fulfill orders
- Coaching, training, and supporting team members
- Picking and packing stock for local and interstate deliveries
- Working with our freight partners to co-ordinate pick-ups and deliveries
- Performing and supervising stock takes
- Maintain daily deliveries and ensure outstanding orders are promptly despatched
- Closely monitor and provide feedback on the picking error rate.
- Ensure that forklift maintenance and daily operational inspections are carried out.
- Ensure that instances of service failure are investigated and actions are developed to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure high levels of stock accuracy and stock control.
- Ensure that staff comply to OH&S policies and regulations.
- Ensure all Stock take KPI's are being met.
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings and minute

**About you**

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who enjoys being in a hands-on role. To be successful you will have:

- Experience in a warehouse/factory environment
- Team leadership experience
- **A current forklift license (essential)**:

- Stock control experience
- The ability to physically meet the demands of the role
- Computer experience - knowledge of Microsoft Office will be highly regarded
- A reliable work history
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
