The role
- We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated service technician to join our busy Kenwick Workshop. We are open to considering _M_echanics_/_Fi_tters_ from all industries who are ready to contribute to our dynamic team.
- As a service technician, your primary responsibilities will include performing pre-delivery _(equipment preparations)_ inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a range of mining equipment and subcomponents. You will report to the Workshop Supervisor and work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Key tasks include:_- Delivery of brand-new machinery to customers across Australia.- Complete machine rebuilds.- Component rebuilds.- Supporting the latest technologies, such as autonomous machinery, battery-electric systems, and remote monitoring equipment.
- Your profile- Relevant Trade Qualification- Previous experience working on a variety of mining equipment (Sandvik equipment would be an advantage)- Excellent communication skills- Good attitude with a strong work ethic and focus on safety
