**How will I help?**

This position will help drive the risk management of the Credit Optimisation team through effective risk analysis; system design, testing, and implementation; and involvement with a number of large system projects across all brands.

The role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Lead the risk decisioning system - Power curve and / or Strategy Manager (PCSM) plus Optimist, design enhancement management & testing processes for consumer and business bank portfolios.
- Prepare and execute testing ensuring the right business outcomes are achieved.
- Project Liaison - Role will represent Risk in projects impacting on or referencing the content of risk decisioning systems.
- Multi-brand focus - This position will cover risk systems activities across all brands within the Westpac Group.
- Technical / quantitative orientation - Role requires a strong analytical background with a focus on using data, reporting, and analysis to improve the risk management of the portfolio.
- Lead the analysis that provides actionable insight into risk decisioning and originations system effectiveness across multiple brands.
- Analyse, identify, recommend & design changes for end-to-end flow within risk decisioning and originations systems that delivers on strategic auto-decisioning goals.
- Perform analysis that enables the identification & delivery of credit risk appetite opportunities and streamlining of processes utilising the data warehouses and other available data.

**What do I need?**
- Proven experience in banking, preferably with experience in risk management systems and business banking (working knowledge of TLA/W and/or Blast).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Tertiary qualifications (Maths/Statistics/Quantitative/Business) or equivalent business experience
- Experience running queries on Group Data Warehouse or equivalent, plus strong working knowledge of SAS/SQL; Excel would be advantageous
- Experience with Strategy Manager and/or Power Curve or Optimist/ RAP
- Experience with Strategy Manager and/or Power Curve or Optimist/RAP
- Preferred skills - basics knowledge in C#
- Jira & Confluence skill
