**About the role**
As a State Sales Manager for Selleys, you will provide leadership, strategic direction, and ongoing coaching to build an engaged, committed, and accountable states field sales team across NSW.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will work collaboratively with the wider state management team to assist with the strategic direction and drive field sales force effectiveness. This key position has a strong focus on customers satisfaction and will partner with the National Account teams to lead the instore activation plans.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage sales team performance through clear targets, ongoing measurement and coaching and development
- Ensure implementation and usage of our CRM platform, to provide valuable data back to the business for insight and opportunity generation
- Ongoing review of market and new customer opportunities outside of existing customer base
- Drive implementation of national, regional and account specific field activities
- Promote and support planning for the field force to be more effective at executing objectives

**Skills & Experience**
You will have a passion for sales, people leadership and progressing you career with a market leader. You will be known for celebrating great performances within your team and are motived by coaching and developing others.
- Field sales management experience
- Financial and commercial acumen
- People leadership and people management skills across geographical territories
- Prior experience setting and measuring cycle objectives; core selling and key AM skills
- Ability to effectively manage customer relationships and build a strong rapport with stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communications with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
