Your role

You'll be a part of our broader Talent Acquisition Team and based in any State across Australia and will manage our Client Secondments and

Allens Adapt

program.

As a Client Secondments and Allens Adapt Recruitment Specialist you will manage and ensure co-ordination across all aspects of the firm's business process for the placement of client secondments including:
- Prioritising secondment requests in the context of broader firm-wide demand and capacity.-
- Collaborating with clients to understand their staffing needs and requirements for temporary legal placements, including secondments.- Working closely with Pricing and Partners to optimise the pricing outcomes of secondments. Keeping in contact with secondees and clients throughout the process, including pre-secondment briefings, regular check-ins, and gathering and sharing quality insights post-secondment.- Preparing monthly and ad-hoc reports to clients and internal stakeholders.-
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the recruitment process.

This is an 8-week opportunity covering annual leave and full or part-time work patterns (e.g. 0.8 FTE) will be considered. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work however flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.

About you

You will have:
- Strong understanding of the legal industry, including various practice areas and job roles.- Experience working within a legal environment (either as a legal recruitment agent or in-house legal recruiter) is highly desirable.- Strong commercial awareness with an ability to stay abreast of developments in the legal contract market in Australia and with an active interest in monitoring supply and demand trends, taking steps to address shortages.- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Workforce planning and/or project management experience, with proven knowledge of key-metric drivers.- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse raw data and draw out insights.
