Our client, a leading specialty insurance underwriting agency that provides innovative and tailored insurance solutions to clients in Australia, with a focus on excellence and a commitment to delivering outstanding service are looking for an experienced Claims Consultant to join their commercial team in Melbourne.

As a Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for:

- Provide exceptional claims service to brokers and clients, including handling of strata and commercial claims.
- System processing of claims and maintaining claim records (Experience using CBS and OfficeTech would be preferred).
- Validate and determine new claims coverage.
- Assist clients and brokers with claims inquiries, including assistance with interpreting policy wordings.
- Proactively monitor claim status using diary follow-up.
- Appoint assessors as required in accordance with guidelines.
- Prepare denial letters and IDR submissions as required.
- At least 3 years’ experience managing (primarily) Residential and
Commercial Strata, Commercial property, ISR and Business package
product claims.

- Tier 2 minimum, Tier 1 would be preferred.
