Our Social Infrastructure and Citizens Services team has an opportunity for **Cleaners **to join the Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) team located in VIC. You will deliver high-quality cleaning and sanitisation services across the MTM rail network, which includes a fleet of over 460 three-carriage trains that run on a network consisting of 15 lines.

This position involves working unsupervised to provide a high-quality cleaning service. The position involves manual handling and lifting and may require you to stand and/or walk for lengthy periods. You will also be working in varying temperatures and weather conditions, and noisy environments at times due to working near trains and trams.

A number of casual day shift opportunities are available around Melbourne’s Outer suburbs with the opportunity to convert to Full time or Part time position within 3 months.

We are looking to fill position in the following areas:
**_Northeast Area - Macleod and Hurstbridge _**

**_North Area - Broadmeadows, Craigieburn, Mernda and Epping _**

**_Southeast Area - Ringwood, Bayswater and Glen Waverley _**

**ABOUT YOU**
- Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment, where you will work as part of a high-performance team focused on working safely and diligently.
- Having strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Previous Cleaning Experience is preferrable but not essential.
- Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card desirable but not necessary
- Must have Current National Police Check (within twelve months from date of issue)
