The Metro Tunnel Project (MTP) is a transformational public transport project that will bring more trains to your suburb and reduce travel times by running the busy Cranbourne, Pakenham and Sunbury lines through a new tunnel. By untangling the City Loop, more trains can run more often across Melbourne.

We’ve finished digging twin 9km tunnels, and construction is underway on 5 new stations and testing of the new High Capacity Signalling system that will enable turn-up-and-go services.

Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
**Training Coordinator** to join the MTP Team.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Training Integration Manager, the
**Training Coordinator** will be responsible for identifying, documenting and validating training needs through the risk base training needs analysis (RBTNA). The role will also monitor and oversee the logistics of implementing the technical training for the Rail Network Alliance (RNA) scope of works, delivery as part of the Metro Tunnel Project.

This role is a
**fulltime, 2-year contract **based in Melbourne’s CBD.

**Responsibilities**- Define and document learning objectives using the risk base training needs analysis.-
- Create instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides and training manuals-
- Design content to optimise learning-
- Redesign content to ensure it matches business & project needs-
- Create visual, audio and interactive learning tools-
- Manage all the necessary administration and documentation required for the training preparation-
- Ensure that all training delivered is done so with the appropriate MTM branding (supports the values with references to Zero Harm behaviours) in the training material for MTM courses-
- Support the Train the Trainer process-
- Report on benchmark results by measures and monitors of the training delivery**About You**- Experience in working in the rail industry would be looked on favourably-
- Experience in Instructional Design, face to face & eLearn development-
- Experience with risk-based training needs analysis-
- Experience working as part of a technical training team-
- Strong teamwork and able to work successfully in a small team, challenging and supporting your peers and making a difference-
- Organised and methodical in your delivery-
- Agile, nimble, and able to engage, respond and develop consultative approaches to providing solutions-
- Can manage stakeholders at all levels-
