**About the role**
Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) is embarking on a once in a lifetime generational change due to the investment in new infrastructure such as Melbourne Tunnel Project (MTP) and Melbourne Airport Rail (MAR), resulting in a growing network and the opportunity to deliver year on year innovative transport solutions for the city of Melbourne.

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven professional to take on the role of Train Driver Allocation Officer and be responsible for the efficient utilisation and allocation of MTM Train Driver resources to ensure the on-time operation of the MTM service according to the working timetable, special events, Government Projects, altered service patterns and operational maintenance requirements.

You must be available to work a 24/7 rotating roster.

**About you**
You will be a highly effective communicator (written and verbal) and have experience in using computer-based Rostering and Time & Attendance systems in a similar operations environment. In addition, you will also need to demonstrate the following ability to:

- collect, analyse and present workplace data and information
- follow occupational health, safety and environmental procedures in the rail industry
- identify and analyse risks, and make corrective actions
- schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to
